The former lead singer of Aventura, Romeo Santos, is on the rise… in the non-Latin community that is. First he collaborated with Usher in the single “Promise,” which had a more likeable twist to young adults who don’t like/listen to Bachata. Now Romeo’s new single is called “All Aboard” featuring… can you guess? Lil Wayne! This time there’s no Latin flair to the song. Which is not why I don’t like the song in particular. I just thought the beat of the song was too slow and plain boring. Plus I think a sudden Lil Wayne singing near the end of the song was not necessary. But that’s just me, and without Lil Wayne in the song non-Romeo fans wouldn’t have probably heard it.
Check out the music video so you can see for yourself. Tell me what do you think! Does Lil Wayne bring the song to life?
