When you catch the refrain of a Pitbull tune, you automatically think of a great party and a relaxing time spent on Miami’s sunny, white sand beaches. But the Cuban rapper is making sure that his younger fans know that the road to success includes education, and in that spirit the 32-year-old is filming a one-hour educational special to highlight teachers and deserving students.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pitbull will appear in the special “The Reach Change Project: Artists for Education” alongside fellow pop icons Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. The show – which will air April 23 at 7pm on CBS – will feature each of the artists as they head back to schools in their hometown and surprise both the teachers that inspired them and praise-worthy students.
